Inspection & quality control
Inspection & quality control
Document product quality before a shipment decision, against an agreed inspection scope.

Agree the inspection stage
Pre-shipment inspection is scoped to product risks. Ask about pre-production or during-production checks; availability must be confirmed before inclusion.
Specifications and quantity
Observable product details and quantities are checked against the approved brief or sample within the agreed scope.
Packaging and labels
Cartons, labels and packaging condition can be checked against the agreed shipping requirements.
Photographs and issue reporting
Relevant findings are documented with available photo evidence. Non-conformities are escalated so buyer and supplier can agree corrective action before shipment.
Service questions
Is inspection a conformity certificate?
No. Commercial quality inspection and regulatory conformity assessment have different scopes. A COC may require separate documentation, inspection or testing.
